A friend sent me a photo of this scene. I instantly thought the colour and light was brilliant.
The vanishing point works so well, it draws your eye in. Also, because the scene’s not been painted to the edges of the canvas, the blackness around the edges almost
acts as your peripheral vision. This too pulls your eye in to the scene.
